i  read an artical titled edina 49, minneapolis southwest 6, written by john millea. this article  was about the football game tonight at kuheim feild in edina. the coaches of edina and southwest ended their conversation before the game saying, "i hope you have a lousy night". luckily for edina the game ended happily. edina won 49-6 playing in class 5A, section 6 quarter finals. eden prairie on saturday night at eden prairie. early in the game zach budish suffered a knee injury, but we do not know the seriousness yet.anders lee, edina's quarterback, sxcored 3 touch downs at tonight'sgame making his record 36. southwest had a bad punt giving edina a short feild for its first score. southwest also opened the third quarter by losing a fumble on its own. but edina knows that edenprairie will not make the same mistakes  as southwest. theyt are trying their hardest to prepare for this upcoming game on saturday.

uh oh nasty accident via go cart

I'm reading an article about this girl who was ridding a go cart for her perfusion and she has supper long hair and she always wears it in a bun and this time she wore it in a ponytail and it she going around the track at about 65 miles an hour and her hair started to dangle down by her wheels unknowingly. Her hair ended up getting caught in her tire and it all ripped off. she did not even feel the pain she just stop her cart because she had a massive headache and she took off her helmet and felt the massive pain on her head and she saw all the blood run down her face. She was rushed to the hospital to stop the bleeding. This happened to her when she was 16 and she is now 19 and her hair has started to grow back but not much. She now has started a place for kids to talk about how the feel about not having hair. She said that she feels like she lost apart of her feminine life.

Gay Peopleee!

I think that gay people are heroes because they can teach a lot to the world about issues and diversity. As I conducted my research, I found that there are gay people who are very open about their beliefs but there are also ones who just choose to live how they are and not cause extra drama to our society. Gay people can teach the rest of the world that even though one is different, they can still be accepted by others. I found an article on gay activists, wikipedia page on gay activists, a movie clip about a gay male and a book on the death of a gay superhero.

This movie trailer is about a gay man who is running for political office. People are trying to run him out of San Francisco because of this. The man is a strong believer in the gay rights and will not leave no matter what. This is based a true story, so the movie gives me even more inspiration to help me believe that I can be who I am and even people don't accept me, I will be happy that I am not living as someone that I'm not.

"Hero" is about a gay superhero that has a crush on his sidekick. When he tells the sidekick this, he is so upset by the news that he beats the superhero. This is very odd because the two are supposed to be bestfriends, and there is no reason for them not to be. He never acted differently to his friend so he would like him more; He was just being himself and shouldn't get hurt for that. I like this because the superhero goes on living normally even though his bestfriend doesn't accept him. It takes a special kind of person to do that.

Basically, all these gay rights activists wanted was freedom to be homosexual and have equal rights as everyone else. They would have confrontations with officials so they could get the media's attention and to hopefully get their views heard. This is being heroic because they stand up for what they believe in and want to show others that it is okay to be different.

Gay rights leaders sent letters to congress to tell them that they should not have to vote on equal gay rights. That is very unfair for them to say they are less of people just because of the people they choose to love. I look up to people who take action against unfairness.

Conclusion:

Overall, I have learned that gay people and gay rights activists care about what people think about them. If everyone were to treat people who are different them as lesser people, not one person would have any friends. Everyone is different in their own way, whether it is personality, looks or beliefs, and each and every person should be treated with equal respect. I also think that there are two different types of gay people heroes. These being activists and ones who just accept and move on. Some people choose to preach about the unfairness and the gay rights. On the other hand, others just accept that people aren't going to change and continue to live their lives as best they can. Gay people are my inspiration to stand up for what I believe in.

last night i read a chapter in the seventh harry potter book called the 7 potters. i thought the chapter was interesting. harry had to escape his house, and get past voldemort, to go to ron's house. the order of the phoenix gave 6 people poly juice potion, so they each turned into harry potter. all 7 harry potters flew out of the house and tried to confuse the death eaters. i like the idea of having seven harrry potters, it was fun to imagine. i thought the chapter was exciting and t was fun to read. i can't wait to read more

I just started reading Charlotts Web, its about a little girl named Fern and her pig,Wilbur. The story begins with the father walking towards the pig pen about to kill piglet when Fern sees him and makes him stop. She told him that he cant kill the pig and that she wants to keep him. He decides to let Fern keep the pig and to take full responsibility of him. She names him Wilbur. Wilbur grows a ton, and has to be sent down the road to Ferns uncles farm. It is within walking distance of her farm, but to Fern it feels like miles away. Fern everyday after school has stoped by see to wilber. Wilbur trys to make friends with the other animals at the burn but no one wants to play with him, but he heard a vioce from the corner of the doorway and thats how he meet Charlott, the spider.

my latest read

This week i finished the book i have been reading, it is called Marley & Me. In the ending of the book the Grogan's have gone through many hard times with there little puppy Marley, and he has always been there for them, like when after months of trying for a baby and getting pregnant then having to find out there baby was a still born was very devastating for the family. But when they got home Marley was waiting to cheer them up. Marley was also very protective. The Grogan's didn't live in a very safe neighborhood but there personal alarm dog Marley was always there to keep strangers away. I can relate to how they feel having a loud dog around because when ever someone so much as walk down the street pass my house my dog parks and parks until they've diapered. most of my neighbors have gotten used to this and when they pass they think ohh its just molly. but if your not expecting it, her barking can be very scary.

the adventures of huckleberry finn chapters 2 and 3

the boys sneak out and do mischevious things. they start a new gang called tom sawyers gang and decide they have to capture people and keep them for ransom, althought they don't know what ransom means. one of the boys starts to cry because hes homesick and tom bribes him with 5 cents. when huck goes home he getrs in trouble for getting his clothes dirty. the widdow douglas tries to explain prayer to huck but he doesn't really get it.

One connection I made to this part of the story was when Lily first met the calender sisters she lied about her past because she wanted to start fresh. When I have met people I have lied to them so that they will accept me and not judge me for my past. Lily lies because she wants to be a part of their house and to finally have a real, true family. I have bended the truth when I told a girl that I have won lots of trophies and metals, even though I haven't. I told her this so that she would be impressed by me and not think that I was a fool. This, in a way, was like Lily's situation.
